Information about cases can be found in many places. Some of it is tucked away in proprietary databases, and others are available to the public. Where to find info:
- Pacer, PACER U.S. Party/Case Index, and Westlaw (Note that most documents provided by PACER and others are in the public domain and should be made available online)
- The Federal Reporter (Note that any case listed should be available from resource.org, openjurist.org, or Justia US Court of Appeals Cases and opinions)
- FOIA annual reports (filed by the DOJ)
- Justia Federal District Court Filings & Dockets
- Operation Clambake
